Health Empowerment Leverage Project (HELP)

C2 played a huge role in assisting the development of HELP.  HELP supported neighbourhood partnerships which boosted community activity and service improvement.

Commissioned by the Department of Health to show the impact of community development on health and wellbeing, HELP developed a research-based cost-benefit model.

Among other findings, the model illustrated that investment in community development in the 20% most disadvantaged neighbourhoods in a local authority area would produce health savings of more than £4million over three years.
